I always look to nature for inspiration and for my friend’s farewell brunch I wanted to use this special occasion to show you how to transform and elevate your tablescape using seasonal blooms, materials and select homeware pieces.
When I’m hosting an event (big or small), I always try to bring the garden indoors and to honour seasonality. Styling an impactful table for autumn was therefore not a difficult task, because of the gorgeous foliage in the Cape Winelands at the moment. Beautiful autumn hues are so easily accessible when foraging at this time of year.
I opted for a tablescape in an autumnal palette and I chose La Cotte Farm in Franschhoek as the backdrop for this special occasion. Brood & Blom was my florist of choice to create an enchanting atmosphere and Willem was simply wonderful in bringing my vision to life.
